Mac Emulators

Emulation of the Classic OS is not as difficult as mr Barton says, it is quite doable but you do need to obtain the proper files for it all to work. I'm not sure which emulator you tried but it doesn't help to try more than one emulator as they all have their own strenghts and weaknesses.

This website may get you going:

Various emulators do exist to aid you with this. But perhaps this Beginner's guide to emulating the Apple Macintosh has some information you can use:

Provides an updated guide to properly setting up BasiliskII

vMac is your emulator of choice when emulating black and white macs running a very low version of Mac OS.
