... but because I stubbornly refuse to run Windows at home in favor of Linux, I won't be playing it much anytime soon.
I've probably played WoW for a grand total of 2 hours max. My wife plays it every day, however. It is visually impressive.
I'm not much into modern online gaming (except for Fight Night Round 4). I'm such a stickler for nostalgia that I just have immediate contempt for any game that was made after 1990 or so. Gaming with blocky pixels and 8 bit graphics is pure bliss for me.
Occasionally, I will telnet from my Commodore 64 to a MUD. Yes, I'm actually able to connect to the 'real' internet on that machine thanks to the MMC Replay + RR Net cartridge. While the WWW doesn't work all that well, I can simulate 80 columns and use telnet.
I really liked the first few minutes of this video. Matt mentioned that the original Neverwinter Nights can still be played online. Does anyone have a link for that?
