Two things that mystify me

Two things that mystify me about Donkey Kong.

1) The conveyor belt level is usually missing on ports - even on the NES version.
2) The Wii's VC didn't get the arcade version (and indeed its superior sequel).

I honestly can't think of any reason for either of these.
