Pardon our mess...As is no doubt already abundantly clear, Armchair Arcade has received an upgrade. Hopefully this upgrade will address all remaining performance issues from too much site activity. Unfortunately, in the mean-time, it will take us some time to get the looks and menu structure back to more or less what it was. We appreciate your patience and sticking with us through what will hopefully mean a vastly improved experience.

I re-activated some of the blocks, but the syndication one looks a little screwy. Can you look into it, Bill?
Well, we can't say for sure
Well, we can't say for sure that the problem is solved, but the site was upgraded to the latest version of Drupal, which apparently acknowledges its past performance issues and features many optimizations. We'll see how things go once we start to get the place back in order. What stinks is that we lost several items (pages) in the upgrade not related to blogs or forums.

So, for inquiring minds, what happened on the back end that solved the Drupal problems?
The logo is fine, but
The logo is fine, but obviously we can't have a background. Also, the "E" is weird.

Like Elizabeth's one a lot!
Like Elizabeth's one a lot! But also the bright yellow one would explode nicely on the piecefull blue serene surroundings of the current theme.
Perhaps have some javascripted videogame bitmaps moving about somewhere. Stuff like small colourfull icons will work great with this sort of pages.

The changes are subtle, but
The changes are subtle, but work pretty well.
One suggestion might be to have a link for Forums along the top of the page, next to "Issues" or something.
I like Elizabeth's take on the logo. If you took that font and made the color white to place on our light blue color scheme, it might fit better.

I agree. You may have to
I agree. You may have to upload the logo again (after tweaking it), since I believe Charlie deleted the old theme directory. I do have a backup if we need it.
One advantage of sticking to this theme is that it should be very easy to handle upgrades and such in the future, since they will always support the default themes in new upgrades.
I like this theme and think
I like this theme and think the yellow logo should go nicely with it, though probably in a smaller version than the last time (the last header in general was too large).
