The contest begins August 1st and ends August 15th at Midnight EST, so get your entries in now! Winners will be contacted shortly after the contest ends and will be announced here.

Prizes are:
* A copy of GRID on the Nintendo DS
* A GRID Baseball Cap
* A GRID T-Shirt
* A GRID Key-Ring

Prize winners will be selected from the pool of correct entries (or closest to correct). E-mail the questions along with your answers here. Be sure to include your full name, address and Armchair Arcade user name so we can contact you!

The four questions, which can be answered by searching the Web or the official GRID Website:

1- How many cars are in GRID DS?

2 - How many Tracks are in GRID DS?

3 - How many track editor pieces are there?

4 - How many players can play GRID DS online?

I am trying to convince the wife to let me buy a Nintendo DS for our trip. :) Not sure what games I should get, though.

I mostly play Civilization Revolution and Chessmaster myself these days, but there are a bunch of quality titles (not even counting all the GBA titles you can play, or, with a flash cart, certain emulations).

Here's just what I have for the DS, not counting GBA (obviously some are my daughter's, and I don't list my flash cart, mostly because I didn't really use it yet):

Boogie
Brain Age
Chessmaster
Civilization Revolution
Crayola Treasure Adventures
Feel the Magic
Impossible Mission
Kriby Canvas Curse
Mario Kart DS
Metroid Pinball (with Rumble Pak)
Metroid Prime Hunters (Demo)
Nanostray
Orcs & Elves
Smart Girls: Playhouse
Super Princess Peach
Texas Hold'em Poker DS
Viewtiful Joe - Double Trouble!

Tried out Grid DS

I tried out Grid DS, might do a little video review on it later.
It does run at 60/fps solid, no framedrops. The cards are a little too responsive at first but it just takes getting used to.
The best-'real'-racer out there on the DS I say. But the title also shows the hardware limits of the DS as no fancy 3D lighting effects are possible. It sort of looks like an early but supersmooth PSX game.

I'll put up some video on the game a little later.
The winner will probably enjoy the game as well. But you don't want to compare it to the bigger cousin running on PS3 and Xbox360.
