Thanks, Clok! I agree that the length could have been longer - it's pretty much as long as these books are allowed to be - but if we had additional room, I would have preferred to fit ALL the games in there first, THEN worry about expanding some of the entries.

One thing I think I'm most proud of about the book is that our game selection was rarely, if ever, criticized. Obviously there's ALWAYS room for improvement here or there, but overall I'm very proud of how that "influential" list turned out.

Not to suck up to much but I

Not to suck up to much but I think it helps who wrote it. I have read some books on video games and the writers are really "into" the subject matter but just come across distant. Your book was easily one of the better ones I have read.. while I wont lie its almost too Brief on each subject, you have to allow for that as you cover so much. Your book kept me reading till I was done.. and In my opinion thats the highest praise a book can get. I have always been a bit of a video game geek and reading about ATARI or The Blue Sky rangers form the old days, how the games where made the culture is just so dang cool.. and your book is just the right amount of the past to make it one to check out.

I'm happy to announce that our book, Vintage Games, is now going into reprints, which means they've run out of copies of the first edition. To me, this continues to prove that there's an audience for quality videogame books, despite overall publisher apathy towards the subject!
