Free chiptune music available!

C64 DEAD PIXELS is an experimental - fourth album from LukHash. It's a fusion album with an interesting combination of 8bit sound blended in with Rock music. The songs were recorded using real chiptune DMG Gameboys and Commodore 64s.

Check out the website

The Album is distributed free of charge and can be downloaded in mp3 or ogg vorbis.

In 2009 LukHash began experimenting with original chiptune machines; including the COMMODORE 64 and a couple of modded DMG Nintendo GAMEBOYs to create a blend of original 8bit sound from the 80's and Rock. Definitely worth checking out!

I caught this too, and quickly downloaded it. The resulting music is certainly a testament to the SID chip, yet mixed well enough to sound like modern music!
