I love Dan Gookin, one of the first Dummies books I read was from him. I still remember some of his computing aphorisms.
Thanks for posting this, Bill.
Ben: Thanks for the love!
First: Is he really standing between stacks of shelves of paper files? How ironic!
Second: I taught a class about PC's circa 1984(?) and when I got to the unit on operating systems, gave each person a copy of "DOS for Dummies". No one would believe the author was not a relative!
Amazon's "Look Inside!" is now active: http://amzn.to/qib8Le
Hopefully I get my copies of the book soon. Those are my daughters on the back cover, and shots of Christina and me are also in the book... It's not just narcissism either, it's the only way to show real world examples with cleared rights!
