So they call you a gamer. You probably won’t have that nickname if you don’t play too many computer games. But there is always someone who comes in and spoil the fun. Whether that person is a concerned parent, partner, or a friend, he/she gets the fantasy away. And you know it yourself, too much gaming is bad for your health and mind. But you can’t help it but play the whole night.
Can you be a gamer and have a life still?
You sure cannot be a gamer that’s only gaming his way out of life, and still, expect to have it. Life has many doors that wait for you to open them, many missions to finish and many dreams for you to catch. Having an online battle or making a character that’s supposed to be you can be educative and of course, a lot of fun. But eventually, it will lead to boredom. When we neglect our human emotions and lock ourselves into a static state of mind (and to a chair), loneliness will come and catch us. If we let that happen, that probably means we are too late to find the light and to come back like everything is still the same. We forget how to live.
Making a balance
The key is to make a balance right from the start. If you haven’t dealt with that yet and you think you’re getting lost, it’s time to act quickly! Tips are everywhere to remind you, but you must remember to follow your heart.
1. Game Date
Game dates must be on your healthy gaming list! Make a tourney with your family, partner, for friends and laugh together while having the best fun ever. Consider protecting your eyes from the artificial blue light with urban-looking gaming glasses.
2. Go Outside
Set it a goal to go outside at least three times per day. Going for a walk or riding a bike help you stay focused on the real life, even though you have the great passion for imaginary one. Doing this with someone special makes it even better.
3. Exercise
Exercising will help you avoid fatigue and stay good-looking. You can choose whatever you like, from going to the gym and making some more friends to casually jogging outside. So many options!
4. Healthy Portions of Everything
Don’t go for junk food and juices while you’re playing games. And don’t snack too much. Think about your portions, pause and make a healthy one, and then return to the game with no guilt at all.
5. Your Obligations
School, job, family/friends meetings and all those little things make your life the way it is. Since everything comes to an end (and becomes boring) at a certain point in time, if you complete your obligations you will be good to go further. Anyway, our life will be dull without them.
6. Refresh
Sleep enough, so your body and your brain can function properly again!
Making balance is the key. Staying healthy, exercising and not pushing everyone from yourself can provide you guilt-free gaming. Your feelings are still there, so don’t forget about them. Otherwise, you risk forgetting how to live.
