Anyone have the list broken down into arcade titles and console titles? Even atgames site doesn’t differentiate platform for the Legends Flashback 2019

Trying to make a spreadsheet to compare titles among the different compilation devices.

    Thanks

Can this Legends play downloaded Mames? I know the Legends 50 will play Sega-Nes-Mames

Just got a 2022 model of this with 100 games, and without playing them all, it’s clear from the list that a lot of the games mentioned here are not on the 2022 model for some reason.

Yes, each year the game lists are a bit different depending upon what licenses expire and new games become available, etc. There have also been different editions with more or fewer games in a particular year.

A mix. Arcade, SNES, Genesis, NES, and ColecoVision if I remember correctly.

I don’t believe that the console uses any NES or SNES ROMs.

Yes, it does. For example, Tetris is the Famicom/NES original (with modified controls) and Super Star Wars is the one and only SNES version.

A game list comparison shows that this 2019 LFB will mesh quite well with the new ALU 1.1 as it has about 20 games (NAMCO, MegaMan, StreetFighter II) that aren’t on the original ALU nor the 1.1 and recaptures about 30-35 that the ALU 1.1 “loses” from the 350 of the original ALU. (Omega Race is a personal fav that I played on my Commodore VIC-20.)

Unfortunately, the 2019 LFB is now somewhat hard to find. Any idea who the original retailers were? Or, can Bill share any info on upcoming 2020 Flashbacks?

Bill: Now that you’ve revealed AtGames will be producing the 2019 Legends Flashback & Atari Flashback X with updated firmware, could you let us know when they’ll be available and at what retailers? Also, will this include the 2019 Atari Flashback Portable or any of the 2019 Blast! dongles, particularly the Bandai / Namco Arcade version? Thanks in advance.

Bill: What’s going on with the AtGames Flashback Zone (AFZ) firmware update portal? It’s severely out-of-date, as is the Release Notes page. For example, my 2019 Legends Flashback Deluxe (model FB8660S) came with firmware v.1.0.4 when purchased in early November 2020, while the AFZ indicates that the latest version available is v.0.1.8 from February 2020. Fairly recently, the AFZ was not completely up-to-date, but was more up-to-date than it now appears, so someone has regressively scrubbed the site.

Is anyone else having issues where you go to play a game and it kicks you back to the console’s loading screen?? Any ideas what may be causing this or more importantly how to fix it? I have one very frustrated son on my hands here… TIA
