Evercade reveals Metal Dragon / Life on Mars (42), plus updated master game list

Evercade just revealed Metal Dragon/ Life on Mars (42), with 2 recent Sega Genesis/Mega Drive homebrews, bringing its total number of cartridge-based games to 542, not counting unlockables or anything built into hardware. Preorders for the new cartridge begin October 24, 2024, for a December release. You can see my current Evercade master list of games at this link.

Evercade has announced their latest cartridges, bringing the total count to 70, as well as two new Super Pockets. The number 46 cartridge in the arcade series is Gremlin Collection 2 with four 32-bit games. Cartridge numbers 15 and 16 in the arcade series, Windjammers, Karnov & Friends and NeoGeo Arcade 1, have five and six games, respectively. Super Pocket NeoGeo Edition (Super Pocket #5) has 14 built-in games and Super Pocket Data East Edition (Super Pocket #6) has 18 built-in games.

Although pre-orders don't begin until September 26, 2024, and these cartridges don't release at least until November 28, 2024, Blaze Entertainment has announced Data East Arcade 2 (A12) and Toaplan Arcade 3 (A11).
