Although previously leaked, it’s still exciting that Doom I and II with extra levels (and new modifiers and settings) are coming to the Evercade platform via cartridge 11 in their computer-themed line. More surprising, especially since the first special edition Evercade Nexus handheld has yet to release, is the Evercade Nexus Doom Edition. Unfortunately, retailer Funstock doesn’t offer refunds, so those of us who ordered the previous edition will have to buy a second handheld if we want this arguably much cooler version that’s limited to just 3,000 units.
