Casino-Related TV Shows To Watch In 2022

February 9, 2022 Posted by Abigail Massimo Editorial No Comments

Casino palaces are among the most desirable locations for gamblers to spend the remainder of their life. Gambling isn’t just a way to make money; it’s also a form of entertainment. Gambling’s entertainment value has been reflected in several films and television shows. Some of us can’t escape the reality that we’ve been inside genuine casinos as directors. We’ve seen our favourite characters playing games at new Australian online casinos 2022 both on the big screen and on the tiny screen. Some of the best TV shows about gambling or casinos have aired in the last several years.

Some of these shows may have gambling as part of the primary plot, while others may show tantalizing peeks of casino arcades. We’ll include some of the top TV episodes that focus on the concept of casinos and include casino scenes in this article.

  • Sneaky Pete
  • Friends
  • The Office
  • Las Vegas
  • Deadwood
  • How I Met Your Mother
  • Big Deal
  • Give Us a Break

Sneaky Pete

It is a fantastic criminal thriller developed by Bryan Cranston (Walter White from Breaking Bad) and in which he also stars. The show is an Amazon Prime Video original that chronicles the narrative of a guy who impersonates one of his fellow inmates after he is freed from jail. Marius Josipovi, who also goes by the name of Pete Murphy, is played by Giovanni Ribisi. The program features several situations in which the game of poker is given prominence. This program has three seasons and is available on Prime Video.

Friends

“Friends” on NBC is a classic, and its comedy continues to fascinate viewers 26 years after the first episode aired. Season 5’s closing episodes (“The One in Vegas”) were set in Las Vegas, and these two episodes are still fanned favourites. Among the highlights of its casino scenes are Ross and Rachel’s marriage, Chandler and Monica’s engagement at the casino betting table, and Joey discovering his identical hand twin.

However, one of the most amusing incidents was when an elderly lady stalked Phoebe in the casino in order to grab the seat next to her at the slot machine and win more money. Well, that was a fictional sequence since slot machines don’t function like that, and contemporary internet slot machines provide a more fair and realistic gambling experience without the need to wait for machines like that prowler lady.

At Wink Slots, players can discover a variety of trustworthy slots. These are the greatest real money casino online games, according to Wink Slots, where gamers may discover games like slots and many more.

The Office

“The Office,” another NBC sitcom, is a huge hit. Michael Scott, played by Steve Carrell, would make you fall in love with the show and all of his coworkers. “Casino Night” is the title of the season 2 finale episode, in which Michael organizes a casino game night at the warehouse and turns it into a casino for the night. The casino night’s goal is to raise money for charity, but you’ll receive some suggestions about who you may invite to your house for a casino night. Some of the individuals in the episode demonstrate their gambling prowess, and protagonist Dwight Schrute wins a round of dice. Jim declares his love for Pam, but she rejects him. The casino episode from this season is one of the show’s most memorable and pivotal moments.

Las Vegas

The sultry, fast-paced performance of Las Vegas is at the top of our list (2003-2008). This is the show to watch if you’ve ever wanted to go behind the scenes of a casino in Sin City. The film Las Vegas depicts the hardships and tribulations of an elite surveillance team tasked with protecting the security of the Montecito Resort and Gambling, one of Vegas’s largest casino resorts. The numerous members of the surveillance team, led by James Cann (The Godfather), deal with everything from card-counting cheats to astonishing runs of random luck at the Roulette and gambling tables. Add in competing casinos vying for high rollers and a couple of love triangles, and you’ve got yourself the ultimate casino drama. Las Vegas excels at producing realistic Vegas situations, with a few outlandish concepts tossed in for good measure.

Deadwood

This HBO series was and continues to be one of the most popular among casino aficionados. A series that possessed Ian McShane’s character till he eventually dominated the series as a whole.

As the proprietor of a bar, casino, and whorehouse, it was only natural to observe many of the characters engrossed in roulette, poker, and other casino games, both at their establishments and those of their competitors. However, this TV show with a casino theme was discontinued after the third season, and it has since become a cult hit, prompting its comeback. In 2009, the show’s following chapter was selected to be adapted into “Deadwood: The Movie.”

How I Met Your Mother

The main focus of this TV show is humour owing to our favourite Barney, and casinos making a profit, play an essential role. Up to two episodes are set in Atlantic City to show Barney attempting to make money in order to rescue the day.

Complex and perplexing games are, of course, hard for viewers to comprehend. Players may now play a variety of casino games at online casinos. We have provided a link to Wink Slots, where you can find the greatest casino games available online.

Big Deal

This classic British comedy/drama follows Robby Box (Ray Brooks), a down-on-his-luck gambler who is always looking for his next big gain. Robby is continuously winning and then losing various amounts of money and estate, despite the fact that he hasn’t been able to get as many huge games as he would want.

Robby’s situation is further compounded by the fact that he has a fiancée and a daughter who are always trying to persuade him to get his life together. Just one more major triumph will be enough for Robby.

Give Us a Break

Sticking with the oldies, Give Us a Break has to be one of the finest gambling TV shows of all time (1983-1984). This BBC drama followed the lives of a professional gambler who falls for a young snooker prodigy. Give Us a Break, starring Paul McGann and Robert Lindsey, was a groundbreaking show that demonstrated how professional gamblers would take large risks for the chance to win great money. Robert Linsey takes the young snooker player under his wing after spotting a fantastic chance and preparing him for a life of gambling.

Despite the fact that the show only lasted eight episodes, it had a significant influence and opened the way for a slew of other gambling series to follow. Although, at this time, the snooker motif is an unexplored market.
