Polymega has opened pre-orders for the $120 EM06 – Pro Module Set, which plays all regions of Atari 2600 VCS and 7800 Pro System cartridges and controllers on the PM01 – Base Unit.
Oddly named Intellivision Sprint, it’s a mini Intellivision console with 45 built-in games, two wireless controllers mimicking the original design, double-sided overlays for every game, and expandability.
This is the type of handheld I was trying to get made for years, and now, My Arcade and Atari have finally done it with the GameStation Go.
The new variation is in Pac-Man yellow with iconic accents and a cool matching joystick, as well as PAC-MAN: Double Feature cartridge. In addition, they’re going to sell a collection of Bandai Namco-licensed Atari 7800-compatible (and + compatible, of course, as well as eventually compatible with the Polymega module) games in special packaging, including Galaga, Dig Dug, Xevious, and the “new” PAC-MAN: Double Feature.
Playmaji has introduced two new game volumes compatible with their versatile Polymega console, Polymega® Collection Vol. 11 – ADVENTURE® and Polymega® Collection Vol. 12 – TEMPEST®.
In addition to the EM06 – Pro Module, there’s a matching controller, Pro 6 – Pro Joystick, with a digital joystick, paddle, and mini trackball that’s also compatible with PCs and other devices.
Evercade has announced their latest cartridge, the 66th, and number 14 in the arcade series, Atari Arcade 2, with 10 games.
