Retailing for $229.99 before shipping, the Evercade Nexus 64 Edition (Funstock exclusive) is limited to 2,000 units. It includes a case, cartridge 53 in the main series (Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie for Nintendo 64), and a screen protector. Standard editions will be available at the usual retailers for less.

All cartridges work across all Evercade handhelds, consoles, and tabletops, as well as all Super Pockets. You can check out the current list of games in the entire Evercade library with my master list, found here. The entire list comprises over 902 games across 98 unique collections, including both cartridges and hardware.

Now we have to wait and see what cartridge 52 ends up being!

Despite that disappointment, it seems like a solid overall product, but I do also dislike the fact that it’s available in two SKUs with different built-in games. They’ve done that before with their various handhelds, but it’s certainly far less practical to buy multiple $200+ large-footprint countertop devices if you want to play the games they’re unable to put on a cartridge or include as built-ins on other devices (licensing restrictions are, as always, a bear).

Commercial Edition of The World’s First Connected Virtual Pinball to feature 149 Licensed Digital Tables for free-to-play and LegendsToken options

Known as the Legends Pinball OE, or Operator’s Edition, the commercial edition will have the same great features as the standard home use model. These features include a 32-inch glass-covered LCD playfield, 15.6-inch LCD backglass, stereo speakers, precision spring-loaded plunger, tactile feedback, accelerometers, global leaderboards, events and tournaments, weekly happy hours, online multiplayer Party Play, voice chat, downloadable digital content, and all of the other connected options found on the Legends Arcade Platform.

Legends Pinball OE brings to operators of clubs, malls, restaurants, and other commercial locations the option to choose between free play or make use of LegendsToken for a fee-based alternative. A total of 149 digital pinball tables are preloaded on the turnkey OE, which include popular selections from FarSight Studios (Gottlieb) and Magic Pixel (Zaccaria), as well as exclusive creations based on legendary TAITO arcade properties including SPACE INVADERS, OPERATION WOLF, and BUBBLE BOBBLE.
