However, more modern games have sought to steer away from an overly animated style and have instead opted to integrate smooth graphics within an Irish setting. In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the bonus Wrath of the Druids content takes place in Ireland. According to PC Invasion, this feature allows players to visit four regions within the country. These are Connacht, Dublin, Meath, and Ulster, and each of which has its own in-game points of interest.   

A Trend with Long-Term Potential 

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Rainbow Riches utilising Irish settings suggests that the backdrop is becoming more popular. Now, come September, Dublin will be hosts to the Conversational Interface Conference, better known as ConverCon, at the Headquarters of Microsoft. The speakers will be experts from the top-notch tech companies, like Amazon and Webio. The duration has been extended to a full day, double of what it was last May.

This will be Europe’s first ever ConverCon and it’ll be the audience to tech giants discussing chatbots, digital assistants, text messaging, and a lot more.

Sweeney himself is a techie. He works as the Executive Vice President at Webio, an Irish start-up which also calls itself ‘The Conversational Middleware’, smoothing conversations across all channels by the means of AI.

Conversational interface, he says, can transform the industry, but the leaders will have to take a practical approach about its implementation and application on every strata of the industry.

In deference to the events of recent times, the Convercon at Dublin is set to address grim themes such as data ethics and ethical AI. These include global deployment factors like that of culture and gender that should be taken into consideration, as well as the practical elements involved with providing a better user experience.
