There have been countless interpretations and variations ever since on every conceivable platform. It&#8217;s fun stuff, and as part of my own collection, I have quite a few boxed variations of such games, and certainly played with various <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/BASIC\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">BASIC language<\/a> interpretations over the years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In any case, what&#8217;s fascinating is that <a href=\"https:\/\/chat.openai.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ChatGPT<\/a>, an AI-like language model that produces text, is able to produce usable code for all types of programming languages, including classic BASIC, which was a staple of personal computers from the mid-1970s to mid-1990s. What&#8217;s most impressive is that not only can it generate one iteration of a program, but also keep iterating.
