The infographic that follows shows how many interchangeable cartridge consoles and handhelds Nintendo<\/a> has sold from 1983 through late 2025. This includes their biggest flop, the Virtual Boy, at about 770,000 units sold, and their biggest hit to date, the Nintendo Switch, at 153,100 units and counting. If things continue to go well for the big N, they could hit the billion unit mark by 2033, give or take a year or two!<\/p>\n\n\n
