{"id":4170,"date":"2016-09-13T23:41:47","date_gmt":"2016-09-14T03:41:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armchairarcade.com\/perspectives\/?p=4170"},"modified":"2016-09-13T23:41:47","modified_gmt":"2016-09-14T03:41:47","slug":"unboxing-zmorph-2-0-sx-full-set","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armchairarcade.com\/perspectives\/2016\/09\/13\/unboxing-zmorph-2-0-sx-full-set\/","title":{"rendered":"Unboxing the ZMorph 2.0 SX Full Set"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As a follow-up to my prior <a href=\"https:\/\/armchairarcade.com\/perspectives\/2016\/08\/11\/first-look-zmorph-2-0-sx-multitool-3d-printer\/\" target=\"_blank\">first look<\/a>, I thought I would do a photo-based unboxing of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/store.zmorph3d.com\/produkt\/zmorph-2-0-sx-full-set\/\" target=\"_blank\">ZMorph 2.0 SX Full Set<\/a><\/strong>, which arrived at the office yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>To summarize, the <strong>ZMorph 2.0 SX Full Set<\/strong> is a 3D printer for 1.75mm filament extrusion, CNC milling, laser cutting and engraving, and thick paste extrusion (e.g., chocolate decorating). It&#8217;s not inexpensive, but with all of these amazing capabilities available with easily switchable, magnetically attached parts in a desktop unit, it actually costs far less than expected.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_4172\" style=\"width: 4938px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/armchairarcade.com\/perspectives\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/DSC_0363.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4172\" class=\"wp-image-4172 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/armchairarcade.com\/perspectives\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/DSC_0363.jpg?resize=4928%2C2772\" alt=\"The first thing you notice is how impressively huge the shipping box is. Note that the 3D-printed tube cracked into two pieces, presumably during shipping, but more on that later.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_4175\" style=\"width: 4624px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a
