Comparison Chart of the AtGames Legends Arcade Family products running the Legends Arcade Platform

September 5, 2020 Posted by Bill Loguidice Editorial 3 Comments

With so many home arcade products in the Legends Arcade Family like the Legends Ultimate, Legends Gamer, Legends Core, Legends Connect, and Legends Pinball all running on the Legends Arcade Platform, it’s hard to appreciate the scope of features. AtGames has addressed part of that challenge by creating a handy comparison chart, which can be found on their website along with additional details. I’ve also reproduced the chart below.

What’s important to keep in mind is that these shared features across all of these products are made possible by one account and friend list. In short, if you buy one Legends Arcade product and create an ArcadeNet account, you’ll be able to use that same account and features on any other product in the same product family going forward.

I want all the controls of the Legends Ultimate, but I would prefer to connect to my TV rather than have a standalone cabinet. Is there any chance of a “Legends Gamer Ultimate” with spinners?

It has the connector for a spinner on the motherboard, but there’s really no room to place it on the panel with the extra buttons (and a trackball is a more usable option for most people since it can also function as a spinner for spinner-based games). We may have a separate solution of some type next year, but for now, there’s nothing available.

Rumor is that the deck/control panel (incl. spinners) for the new ATGames Legends Ultimate (ALU) version 1.1 can be removed to function as a wireless gamer with the yet-to-be announced Legends Core. Bill, can you confirm this?
