Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War: How to Win at Multiplayer

April 14, 2021 Posted by Jonathan Adams Editorial No Comments

There is no doubt that Call of Duty has become one of the most popular Battle Royale games. The new edition, Black Ops, has finally completed Season 1 of this multiplayer game. But, some gamers aren’t entirely satisfied with it. This is because many experienced players overpower beginners, so new players end up losing.

Although some Black Ops Cold War hacks are available, only a few players can understand these tips. There is no need to worry since several easy hacks can help you win your first multiplayer game and boost your K/D ratio.

How to bag more kills at Black Ops Cold War?

Make sure to know your loadout

Black Ops Cold War provides similar customizations to that of Modern Warfare. Features such as the Gunsmith allow players to have complete control over their attachment customizations. The more you use a specific weapon, the higher their level and the better it becomes. Throughout the process, you unlock various new attachments for your weapons.

Attachments play an important role in how well your weapon works. So try using a certain weapon in multiplayer mode and switch to another. Through this, your chances of winning will increase, and you will be able to get better at using your weapons.

New scorestreak system

Loads of gamers who are used to Call of Duty Cold War have seen the killstreak and scorestreak before. Scorestreaks are earned and increased from your previous scores and goal completion. It also depends on your kills when your killstreak doesn’t reset even after you die. But, your score multiplier always resets upon death, so it takes a lot of time for larger scorestreaks to come around.

Until you get better at your killstreaks and scorestreaks, it is advised to go with small or medium scorestreaks. This way, you will eventually get better at the game because your streaks only appear after your 4th kill.

Advanced loadout statistics

Since Cold War is like Modern Warfare, the Gunsmith provides you with the advantages and disadvantages of every weapon. You can easily choose the weapons that suit you best or ones that are better in certain categories. There are various categories like range, damage, mobility, and many more. However, Cold War has an updated version of the regular loadout statistics. When you press the right trigger, an advanced loadout statistic appears on your screen.

Through this, you will be able to see various advanced options, such as the difference when you add a different grip to your weapon.

Broaden and open up your view

The updated version of Call of Duty Cold War has an added feature for console players. PS4/ PS5 and Xbox players can now change their view to make it in line with PC players. This broadens the perspective for console players and allows them to see better and adjust to how a PC player plays typically.

There is one crucial thing that all players need to keep in mind. The higher they set their FOV, the more frames are dropped in-game.

Refrain from camping in multiplayer modes

Camping was once a great way to slowly climb on top of the ladder as various beginner players would rather camp, hide, and wait until a few players remained. However, the new Cold War version has prevented players from camping. A new mechanic known as Treyarch has forced players to come out instead of camping and waiting for others to die.

The Ghost mode requires all players to move to remain unnoticed by the non-detection plus continuously. If you remain stable, other players will eventually find you, and you will either get killed or survive, depending on your skills and luck.

Remember your basics

With various new updates and features, Call of Duty Cold War is no longer the same. Although these updates have changed the game, some basic rules remain the same; however, many players ended up forgetting some of them. The essential rule that many players learnt was only to run when necessary.

It is obvious that you alert enemies when you start running. So waiting for the right moment and running only when needed will save you from trouble. It will also help you keep your materials and loadout safe.

Conclusion

It seems that Call of Duty Cold War is no longer the same game it was before. Due to the changes and updates that took place, various new features and facilities were added to the Battle Royale mode. To emerge victorious, use the hacks discussed above and upskill yourself over time.
