Most Popular Ways To Have Fun Online

May 13, 2021 Posted by Jonathan Adams Editorial No Comments

This sounds incredible, but sometimes, even the Internet can get boring. Social media seem to be all the same, nothing cool is happening, all the series have been seen, all the Instagram stories have been checked. There is nothing else to do online. However, this is because you don’t know where to go.

More and more services offer some cool content or entertainment, but of course these should be paid for. And yet, there are still a bunch of things that can be done online free of charge, and this is not stealing movies from torrents.

So, if you feel bored and tired of all the content you are scrolling through, but you don’t want to take a break and detox from the informational clutter, try something new.

Four Fun Activities Free of Charge

There are tons of free activities available in the web for free, but most of them still require a skill or a desire to learn something new. While some people may find this entertaining, this is not exactly an entertainment. Instead, we are offering to explore options that are purely fun.

Video Games

Video games are usually paid for, right? Yes, but guess what, many platforms have free versions that work forever, with certain in-game limitations applied. Or, other platforms have Demo versions that work for 7, 10, 14, or 30 days, free of charge. Can you imagine that? You can play some of the best video games without paying, for as much as 30 days!

This time is enough to learn the rules of the game, create the character, explore the universe of the game, gain some levels, and even make friends with other players. After the Demo period is over, you can choose – either to pay and stay on the platform, or look for a different platform’s Demo mode for a different game. Both choices are good, because your purpose is to have fun. Just feel free to research the games, read the platforms’ rules carefully.

Casino Games

Okay, casino games just can’t be free of charge, right? Wrong! Best online casinos also have Demo mode for their games. One option is to visit the casino site, and play their games in Demo mode even without registering an account. Many reliable casinos offer their games for free even to random visitors of the site, in order to demonstrate the high quality of their software to potential customers. In most cases, you will be able to play slots, video poker, and some table games, for free and without registration.

Another option is to register an account, and have access to a wider range of games available in Demo mode. You will not be able to win money in this mode, but you also don’t have to deposit your cash.

There is a third option, too. In case you want to play casino games without depositing, but still want to win real money and cash it out, there is a way for you. Find a safe and reliable online casino that offers No Deposit Bonus to the newly registered players, make an account, claim the bonus, and wager it in games. Your bets will be covered by the Bonus money, while the money you win can be cashed out.

YouTube

Youtube is a decent alternative to all the movies and series in the world, since it offers user-generated content you don’t have to pay for, or pay for access to the platform. Just skip the ads and watch whatever you want.

While many people tend to use Youtube as a platform for watching documentaries or particular bloggers’ videos, there is a better option specifically for fun. Try to click on every new video that intrigues you, and proceed watching, regardless of the topic. After a dozen clicks, you will find yourself in the Narnia of Youtube, watching videos about things you didn’t know existed, and about topics that you have never been interested in. Just follow the white rabbit, click on, and fall deep into the rabbit hole of Youtube.

Most people will state there is nothing useful or educational in such an approach but this is not exactly true, because such a random search can lead to some unexpected results. The Youtube platform’s algorithms will be reshaped by your random clicking, and the site will start recommending videos for your feed which otherwise you would have never watched. Therefore, you can have loads of fun, and yet learn something new.

Online Chats

Today, everybody chats in messengers and social networks, and this communication can be quite vibrant. However, looking for new people to make friends and chat seems a bit awkward in 2020 (because we were more open to making new friends online somewhere in the 2000s).

Does it mean there is no way to find new people to communicate with? Of course not. In fact, there are tons of cool online chats where you can either create an account and find like-minded people that share your interests, or, you can stay anonymous and talk to complete strangers.

You can choose between video chats and text chats. For anonymity, text chats are definitely better, and if you are a writing geek, you will definitely enjoy the communication. Video chats are a bit less safe, but they can be way more fun. Just make sure you read the rules of the platform, and please never share any personal info with strangers online.

Final Thoughts

If you feel your Facebook or Instagram feed became boring, start thinking out of the box, and look for new places online. The Internet just can’t be boring. Open new resources for yourself, try new things, and make new friends online!
