Capcom has made a nice selection of their classic console games, in both Japanese and English versions, available for play in your web browser. These are complete with instructions and full controller support, including assigning controllers to individual players. It’s a great move by the company and super easy to use.

There are 22 games to choose from, including Breath of Fire II, Final Fight 2, Captain Commando, Mega Man 2, and Street Fighter II, although it’s important to note that in this count are the same games, just from different regions. Whether you want to play the NES, Famicom, Super Famicom, or Super NES versions of the games, they’re there. This is particularly nice since there are often minor differences between regions.

My personal recommendation is Super Ghouls’n Ghosts for the Super NES. It’s a great update to an already classic, and notoriously difficult, arcade game.
