Showcasing the power of Microsoft’s Excel, as well as the power of human creativity with just a bit of madness, an individual known only by the mysterious pseudonym, The Storyteller, has created “Mercer,” a Fallout-inspired adventure game.

To get this to work, you need to unblock the security status of the file to allow macros from an untrusted source. You can do so by following the instructions here after downloading the file.

It’s not perfect, of course, as some of the formatting proved a bit wonky at times on my PC desktop, but sure enough, it’s fully functional and well worth checking out if for nothing more than the novelty.
