Polymega has opened pre-orders for the $120 EM06 – Pro Module Set, which plays all regions of Atari 2600 VCS and 7800 Pro System cartridges and controllers on the PM01 – Base Unit. While Playmaji claims that this will release Q2 2026, they don’t exactly have the best track record. The Pro 6 – Pro Joystick, with 4- and 8-way joystick modes, and paddle and trackball controls, is also available separately.

You can read my 2024 review of the Polymega platform. Since the time of that review, they’ve released a Nintendo 64 module, various disc-based game compilations, and the long-awaited light guns. There’s still much more to come from Playmaji for their intriguing platform, but again, who knows exactly when.
