Review: Multi-Color Underwater Disco Ball

April 25, 2016 Posted by Bill Loguidice Review No Comments

If you have a pool, hot tub, or bath tub that you’d like to add a light show to, the Multi-Color Underwater Disco Ball from iPool Accessories delivers. There are five different operating modes controlled from a single button where the various LEDs alternate on and off states and various color patterns.

In the box is the light itself, a weighted knob that helps it stay upright when floating, and an instruction manual. You unscrew the top of the unit to place the required three AAA batteries, which are not included. Although this is not waterproof, just water resistant, and therefore not meant to be submerged, it does a good job of staying afloat on its own once properly re-assembled. The various light modes are pleasing and did a good job of creating a nice ambiance in our bath tub tests.
