The Gunnar World of Warcraft, Horde Edition glasses are designed to block blue light and 100% of UV. They list for $89 on the Gunnar website, but are, as of this writing, just $57.85 on Amazon. I’ve covered Gunnar glasses before, including the potential benefits of blocking blue light from displays, and these are more of the same, just with the associated World of Warcraft FOR THE HORDE theme.
Per usual, these glasses are attractive and well-built, with a polymer frame (in this case, Onyx), metal temples, flexible spring hinges, and the G-Shield Plus lens coating, which is anti-reflective, smudge resistant, and oleophobic (repels oils). The lenses are available in standard GUNNAR-Focus or Prescription. These are GUNNAR-Focus with an Amber tint that block 65% of blue light at 450nm. As expected, they made viewing my desktop displays more pleasing and a good way to give my eyes a break during long working, or gaming, sessions.
Besides the attractive styling, the lens has a tiny Horde crest on the lower right lens. It looks nice and was never present in my view. Included is a themed soft lens case, as well as a magnetic paperboard case. It’s Gunnar’s usual fun, themed package paired with very nice glasses.
