As a follow-up to my earlier feature on popular casino table games, I thought I would delve a bit deeper into the topic.

The American format has a single zero and double zero, so the chances of winning are slightly worse because of the added number.

Live baccarat is available in most online casinos too. A live dealer will deal out the cards and players can place their bets online. In some casinos you’ll even be able to play baccarat on some tables without the commission.

Typically there’s a 5% commission on winning banker bets, so if you can negate this commission you can lower the house edge. Any time you can lower the house edge you should definitely take advantage of it. Baccarat already has one of the lowest house edges in the casino, but no commission baccarat is an even better bet.

Online casinos also spread poker games. Not your typical 10-player Texas hold’em games, but casino poker games, such as three card poker, Caribbean stud, Caribbean hold’em, let it ride, and paigow poker.

One of my personal favourite casino games is war. Casino war has a low house edge, but can vary based on the way you play. The lowest house edge is 2.88% per hand and that’s based on you going to war every time there is a tie.

You also can never bet on the side bet if it’s available. In war there’s a side bet where you can bet on a tie happening between your card and the dealer’s card. The bet pays 10:1 odds, but has a massive house edge of 18.65%.

There are lots of casino table games to enjoy and many of them have very simple rules that a beginner can learn in a short amount of time. Playing the same game can become boring, so step out a little and try some of these games.
